Heading Home. . .

Another week comes to an end. . .

Can I just say that I'm so glad today is Friday?
This week seemed unusually long despite some major things going on.

Speaking of major things, I'm heading home at the crack of dawn on Sunday! I'm just going for 5 days but I'm looking forward to being out of New York and back in more familiar territory. Of course, I'm a little worried because my trip coincides with the start of NaNoWriMo. Eek! I'm going to give it my best to not fall behind in the first 5 days. In fact, my preparation this year is light years beyond my prep in the previous years. I have some character sketches completed (or near completed) and I'm constantly mulling my potential novel over and reworking it.

I'm waiting on a new dress that I scored on sale to be delivered today. Hopefully I can get it washed and ready to go for tomorrow's services. Speaking of tomorrow, thankfully it looks like LI is going to miss out on the first snow of the season. Some of us just aren't ready to walk around in snow and ice quite yet!

Finally, I'm getting my hair cut while I'm home and I'm considering taking quite a bit off. . . I've been collecting pins on Pinterest for inspiration. What do you think? The only thing I'd like to do is keep it long enough to cover my neck. When it gets cold up in here I like my neck to stay warm!
